Be Different! Detection & Response is not the Full Story

In this talk Oli will be taking us through a example that shows that the focus on detection and response in the security space is critical but recent threat actor tactics mean that remediation is where MSP's add the most value and can really differentiate. There is an opportunity for MSP's to elevate their service offerings, and become indispensable to their clients with the latest technology advancements. We'll uncover some of the latest threats to target businesses of all sizes and how to deliver superior protection and remediation advice against these threats, increase monthly recurring revenue (MRR), and solidify your position as a trusted advisor.

Panel Discussion: AI at the Crossroads: Securing and Scaling in the Age of Intelligent Threats and Opportunities

Artificial intelligence is transforming the business and security landscape at breakneck speed—bringing both unprecedented opportunity and urgent risk. Today’s CISOs face a perfect storm: employees experimenting with generative AI tools in ways that can expose sensitive data and intellectual property; cybercriminals weaponising AI for deepfakes, automated exploits, and other sophisticated attacks; and a widening skills gap in securing and managing AI technologies. At the same time, small and mid-sized businesses are eager to harness AI’s potential but often lack the knowledge, resources, and strategic guidance to do so effectively. This panel brings together security leaders and SMB experts to explore how Managed Service Providers (MSPs) can be both protectors and enablers—helping organisations navigate AI adoption while safeguarding against its risks. Expect actionable strategies, real-world use cases, and a candid look at how to balance innovation with resilience in the AI era.

World Class Thinking, World Class Behaviour with Penny Mallory

People are under more pressure than ever before, creating a feeling of overwhelm. Penny reveals how you can manage the pressure by developing a sense of control of your life and your emotions. The heavy work loads people are managing are creating stress. Penny shows how you can manage stress by developing confidence in your ability to get the job done. The insane speed of change is making people feel out of control.

Penny talks about how you can manage your emotions when things are moving fast. Deadlines are so tight that people are losing focus and energy.

Penny explains how you can maintain enthusiasm and commitment when you’re up against it. People are required to deliver more, but with less resources.

Penny shows how you can view these challenges as exciting opportunities, rather than threats. Penny defied the odds by achieving her childhood ambition of becoming a Champion Rally Driver. She surpassed that dream by becoming the first woman to compete in a World Rally Car for Ford in the prestigious World Rally Championship. Remarkably, she remains the only woman to accomplish this. Her journey is even more remarkable given her tumultuous past as a teenage runaway, enduring 3 years of homelessness in London. Penny attributes her success to her Mental Toughness.
