Ian became Chief Executive Officer at Sapphire in September 2023. Ian has more than 20 years of experience leading Cyber Security, IT Services, and Consulting sectors. In his early career, he worked at British Airways, where he managed their Global Contact Centre, and at Cable & Wireless, where he oversaw their Global networks.

Ian has a successful history of leading large, diverse global teams in transformation and turnaround. He also has extensive experience in M&A, having integrated acquisitions and sold businesses to Private Equity. Sapphire, led by Ian, is a firm with big aspirations to grow and enhance its services for clients. The company is dedicated to securing the future of its clients by guiding them in making the right decisions and acting as their reliable partner.

Ian’s also a keen rugby fan and a frequent visitor to Murrayfield and Twickenham.
